Arts Forum Tuesday May 3... and More!
Good Afternoon Members of Arts Forum,
We are reminding you of the upcoming Arts Forum Meeting which is set for Tuesday May 3rd from 5:30 to 7:30 PM (please note the change from 5:00 to 5:30 PM). The meeting is being hosted by ODC Theatre (3153 17th St @ Shotwell Street). Following is the Agenda:
1. Welcomes and Introductions
2. City Arts Task Force Update (Debra Walker, newly elected Chair of the Task Force, will join us) and discussion of how Arts Forum can interface and support the work of the Task Force. 3. Continued discussion around structure of Arts Forum including conversation with Darian Heyman, Executive Director of the Craigslist Foundation, around their interest in developing and nurturing associations in various non-profit sectors (including the Arts). This will be an opportunity to discuss possibilities of an Arts Forum/Craigslist collaboration in this arena. 4. Updates on Assemblyman Mark Leno's Bill AB 655 5. Plan for next meeting.
Additionally, Yerba Buena and ArtTable are co-hosting a talk with Muriel Johnson, the new Director of the California Arts Council on April 28 at 6:00 PM at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. This will be a good opportunity to meet Muriel, share what we do, and hear her plans and priorities.
