Just a quick reminder that Mona Caron's illustrated Art & Politics Talk is
coming next Wednesday Sept. 19 at 7:30 at CounterPULSE. And the following
Sunday, Sept. 23, leaving at 12 noon from CounterPULSE is the first of this
season's always popular

Tours, led by Chris Carlsson, this one on the theme of local
transit history. The tour last from 12-4 and consists of easy riding at a
relaxed pace, interspersed with stops and talks along the way, illustrating
the fascinating history of how we get around this town, going back to the
days when it was all sand dunes and creeks to today's de-freeway'ed bike
lanes and more.... The bike tour has a requested sliding scale donation of
$15-50 to help fund Shaping San Francisco as it approaches its forthcoming
expansion...
