Dear folks,

In keeping with Indy Arts' mission to "expand civic dialogue by
increasing access to independent voices," we'd like to let you know
about another great conversation from our friends at Shaping San
Francisco, this time on urban agriculture and food security.

See below for details. And stay tuned for updates our own Shaping SF
Talks event coming up on Dec. 12, "Save the News!"

Wed., Nov. 28, 7:30 p.m. at CounterPULSE, 1310 Mission at 9th:

Food Security & Urban Agriculture

November 28

Our food system is being refashioned by new urban farmers, farmers
markets and community-supported agriculture, and importantly, by
savvy shoppers who demand local, organic and safe food. Still, food
security is tenuous for too many of our neighbors. Amy Franceschini
(Victory Gardens, past and present), Willow Rosenthal (City Slicker
Farms), Jason Mark (Alemany Farm, and editor of Earth Island Journal).
