Our friends at the Community Technology Network of the Bay Area will
be hosting a
FREE all day conference for Bay Area non-profits
LGBT Center
1800 Market Street
San Francisco
August 10th, 2006
9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The conference will have speakers talking about:
+how to tell your non-profit and community story with free online tools
+how to secure funding for technology projects
+easy to use databases
+public policy and advocacy for non-profits
The conference will be an excellent opportunity for Bay Area
non-profits to share their questions and success with each other.
Lunch will be provided.
Conference keynote speaker Paul Lamb. Paul is a consultant and a
Fellow with the Community Technology Foundation of California. Paul is
a leader in the community technology movement in the Bay Area and
nationally. He has recently written an OpEd for the San Francisco
Chronicle called "Spanning the new digital divide."
