Happy New Year!
With your support, Independent Arts & Media continues to produce events and programs that advance freedom of information, free expression and a culture of democracy.
In 2005:
- The Sixth Annual Expo for the Artist & Musician debuted at SomArts on Sept. 10, attracting 124 organizations and 1,000 attendees, and featuring 24 on-site workshops, live music, performance, a 12 page newspaper and a monthly newsletter promoting Expo participants.
- The free "Lunchtime Liberties" workshop series at CounterPulse discussed
Internet privacy in the workplace, and workplace drug testing.
- Newsdesk.org reached thousands of people through its free, weekly newsletter News You Might Have Missed, original articles and FOCUS news analyses.
We're starting 2006 off with more opportunities to support democracy and IAM.
