* "Investing in Artists" Grant Program: Deadline AUGUST 3

    The Center for Cultural Innovation has recently launched a
    new grants opportunity called Investing in Artists, which
    provides grants in two categories: 1) Artistic Equipment &
    Tools; and 2) Presenting & Marketing Work. Through a
    competitive application process conducted over three initial
    rounds of funding, a combination of planning grants up to
    $5,000 each, and implementation grants up to $15,000 each,
    will be awarded to California artists over two years.

    the San Francisco Bay Area on Thursday, July 19th for a Special
    A&R Event at 12 Galaxies in San Francisco. Melrose and Moore
    will be interviewed about "Getting Signed" plus reviewing
    selected material.

    post-tsunami Sri Lanka.
