   The Weekend Wake-Up presents its second event of the year, "Beats
   and BrushStrokes: Streams of Cultural Consciousness."  The Free 
   All-Ages Event is a special fundraiser towards the publication of 
   the fifth issue of Seventh Native American Generation (SNAG) 
   Magazine, a publication entirely written and produced by indigenous
   youth throughout Turtle Island (america).

   Stagewerx debuts at 533 Sutter St. in SF on Saturday, January
   19 at 8pmish (doors at 7:pmish). This will be a variety show, 
   all acts welcome. Limited space for performers so first 
   responders gets stage time (5-10 minutes to do your thang). 
   
   There's no door charge so no pay but we'll ply you with 
   libations. Come see old friends and meet new peeps.

   If you'd like to contribute to the libations, food, music, 
   tending of the bar, door... we'd love the help.

   ME'D1.ATE is seeking artists and musicians for the third 
   season of the Soundwave>Series, the innovative Bay Area 
   multi-venue event series exploring imaginations in sound.

   Scheduled for the Summer of 2008 in San Francisco USA, this
   season's theme is titled MOVE>SOUND, where artists and 
   musicians explore the intersection of motion and sound, in its 
   production, collaboration, performance and interaction, and how
   this engages, inspires, and challenges audiences and performers
    with a new, bold and intense aural experience.
