The new initiative seeks to support artists and arts organizations working in true partnership with social service and cultural organizations to stimulate the building and strengthening of healthy, vibrant neighborhoods and communities. We see this initiative as a way to support existing good practice and to enter into a larger dialogue about the potential of the arts to impact how social issues are addressed in distressed and underserved neighborhoods and communities.
