A District 10 Supervisor Candidates Forum Tuesday, September 26, 7-9.15 pm at The Thick House, 1695 18th Street (near Carolina) More artists live in San Francisco's District 10 than any other part of the City. On Tuesday, September 26 at 7 pm, artists and other residents of Potrero Hill will meet seven candidates for District 10 Supervisor. Incumbent Sophie Maxwell and six challengers will join us for a Supervisor Candidates Forum at the Thick House, 1695 18th Street near Carolina Street. The communities of Potrero Hill are known for their high levels of political interest, active voting habits, and residents who care deeply about the future of the City. We will need that attention in the future, with three new neighborhoods being planned around us, real shortages of support for our local artists, schools and parks, a controversial redevelopment plan in Bayview/Hunter's Point, numerous environmental hazards in our communities, and a wide variety of new initiatives projected for District 10 as a whole. We look forward to discussing these issues directly with the candidates; come join us on Tuesday and judge for yourself! (All questions will be asked by the debate moderators; if you wish to submit a question for any or all of the candidates, we recommend e-mailing it to president@potreroboosters.org or bringing it in writing to the forum on the 26th.)
